Framus “Texan Style” banjo 1973?
Framus 13220 "Texan Series" 5-string banjo. They Made two models, a 4 string and a 5 string. These were made from the 60s to early 70s. This one I believe is a 1973. They have a unique tail piece/"horseshoe" only on the Framus. It has a plastic drum/pot. You can see in the pics where the plastic split on the edge of the pot. It sounds AMAZING and is in fantastic condition. It's a bluegrass style banjo. Framus was in west Germany, where the banjo was made. Many musicians such as Elvis, John Lennon and Paul McCartney used the Framus banjo. The case is included. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
