RARE & HEAVY Cambridge Glass Heliotrope Footed Bowl in Excellent Condition 1920

Description

For sale here is an incredible Heliotrope Cambridge footed bowl in excellent antique condition.  Measuring 5 1/4" tall and 9 1/2" wide, this bowl weighs a whopping 3 pounds.  From what I have read on line, this helio glass was produced by Cambridge Glass in 1923 and 1924.  No mention of it appears in any Cambridge catalog after 1924.  The company name for this glass was HELIO, but collectors today refer to it as HELIOTROPE.  The glass is translucent, allowing light to shine though it.  This is quite rare in a bowl with this size weight.  There is NO damage that I can find.  It's simply a beautiful piece of glass.  Please look closely at the photos as they perhaps can better describe this bowl than I can using words!!  It's an exceptional piece of Cambridge glass.  This piece will be double boxed for shipping!!!
