An interesting and good-playing banjeaurine with decorative features that seem to point to a Chicago Lyon & Healy
origin, but there also are present details that might suggest both Cole banjos and  S.S. Stewart Banjos.
The banjo is un-marked.
10 1/2” rim, 21 1/2” Scale Length
Nicely-carved heel and engraved shell inlays add to this banjo’s charm.
Good neck, good action.
Skin head.
Well-played, but generally all-original.
It appears that the ebony fingerboard may have been re-glued sometime in the past.
Note: unexplained damage at end of peg-head.
